Welcome

Hi, I’m Kim. Welcome to Walk with Me. . . Thank you for visiting!

Have you ever experienced a saying or verse that inspired you enough to change your life? Early in my walk with God, I came across this one:

“Teach me your way, O’LORD, and I will walk in your truth;

give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”    (emphasis mine)

Ps. 86:11 NIV

This verse helped me see that I had one foot in my new life with Christ and one foot in the old life, and it was holding me back. There is more to life than just eking by each day wishing we had the confidence to do big things!

Friends, Walk With Me isn’t about walking with me; it’s about accepting God’s invitation to walk with Him and jumping in with both feet!

How is this done? I did it by sitting at Jesus’s feet one day at a time. Daily encounters with God sounded overwhelming initially; with life’s expectations weighing me down, I just couldn’t deal with one more thing. But this wasn’t about my strength or will; it’s about receiving God’s provision.

God doesn’t expect us to find new ways of being; He challenges us to find new ways of receiving.

Are you aware of your need to receive wisdom on a daily basis? Have you considered what is holding you back in life? Do you understand the process of spiritual growth? Are you ready to face life’s challenges, to be loved and shaped by God, but have doubts, feelings of inadequacy, and weaknesses that get in the way?

You are not alone!

Everyone has a story, we’re all looking for something more, and we all need help to get there.

I recognized my need for a community of like-minded women when, as a new Christian, I became a single-mom. I yearned to become someone new, a woman of courage, loved and respected, yet I was unsure of how to go about it. So, I boldly opened my heart to Christ, the only One I trusted, and set off on a new journey that led me to learn and receive the fullness of JOY He intends, with my whole heart.

Walk with Me is a place to share our challenges and the life lessons that inspire us to live in courage, freedom, and hope.

Like you, my story is still being written; there is always more to learn. I hope you’ll join me in this journey. Let’s learn to walk with Him together.

Blessings!

Kim
