Have you heard of a 'life-change' verse? Early in my walk with God I came across the following verse and it changed my life,
I realized I was holding back in my relationship with Him and in life; it was time to learn to trust. Once I began to receive God's grace and grow in faith I began to experience the joy and renewal I longed for.
How is this done? The fear of trusting my heart to God and others was palpable but I've learned the Lord is a gentle teacher. I've slowed my pace (a life-altering feat in itself!) and devoted myself to learning the scriptures and living them out in relationship with others. Life is meant to be lived in community!
God doesn't expect us to transform ourselves; He leads us toward new life when we accept His grace and salvation with a heart open to receive.
How about you?
Are you aware of your need to receive from God and others daily? Have you thought about what might be holding you back? Do you long to share your needs and challenges, to be loved and shaped by God and others, but fear, inadequacy, and weakness get in the way? Are you tired of striving?
I believe everyone has a story.
We're all looking for something more.
We all need support to get there.
After working as Director of Women's Ministry for 30 years, I recognize the need for a community of like-minded women motivated to walk together as we learn to walk in His ways and receive the fullness of JOY He intends. This inspired me to create,
"Walk with Me . . . A Journey of Receiving God in the Every Day."
I'll share my challenges and the relational skills I've learned that taught me to live in courage, freedom, and companionship. Like you, my story is still being written, so I hope you'll join our community and Walk with Me . . .
Blessings!
